The AdvancedTCA standard has been selected as one of the hardware platforms for the upgrades of the back-end electronics of the CMS and ATLAS
experiments of the Large Hadron Collider. In this context, the CERN EP-ESE group has designed and produced an IPMC mezzanine card for the
management of AdvancedTCA blades. This document describes in detail how to implement the CERN-IPMC module on a custom ATCA board.
The CERN-IPMC webapplication provides several interfaces to:
- Order modules: you have to be logged to access this section from navigation bar.
- Compile a custom software: This section gives you an interface to compile your own CERN-IPMC solution allowing the module to monitor your own sensors and execute specific power sequences. - Sensor driver generator: This tool generates driver templates where you can easily write your own init and read functions to access the sensors. You have to be logged and be a member of the epesebe-ipmc-forum e-group to access this section from navigation bar.
